Our Client is a global power leader, is a corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems.
Position: GOMS Compliance Administrator

Experience: Minimum 5 years
Operational experience/understanding of the functional areas of Customer Service, Materials and Shipping and new Order Management  process.
Understanding of SOX Process and Policy.  Understanding of Auditing Systems and processes.
Qualifications: CA/ICWA  Intermediate passed min. demonstrated audit experience would be an advantage.
Purpose:
To maintain the integrity of all transactional data within GOMS (Global Order Management Systems) from receipt of demand into the system to the invoicing to the final customer
Reporting to the Global Planning Leader.
 
Job Responsibilities:
To be responsible for ensuring that the process remains Sarbanes Oxley compliant
To control and drive all procedures behind stock transactions and invoicing of customer call-offs
To investigate any break-down and lead a corrective action by liaising with the relevant departments in the flow – Offshore plants, Shipping departments, Customer service, Materials, Finance, CBS, Global Planning, Global Logistics and UPS SCS International.  This may require interfacing! with the External customer.
To ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
Report world wide inventory status and drive improvem! ents.
Conduct reconciliations , test existing controls an! d sugges t additional controls where applicable.

Job Description





Basic Function


This position is primarily responsible for Financial Reporting and Accounts Reconciliation services to external customers, catering specifically to Taxation:


·         Assist with and validate quarterly tax provisions computation.

Supporting the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) analysis.
Maintaining the tax account reconciliation.
Work with FAS 109 compliance issues.
Analyzing tax journal entry and maintaining tax attributes.
Supporting Reporting requirement.
Compliance with BPRS Methodology, work plans and activities.


Technical skills: Proficiency in Word and Excel.



Process Specific skills:  Exposure to US GAAP, taxation (Indian/International) and Accounts Reconciliation



Soft Skills (Desired) : Effective Communication skills – written and oral

-                   Good documentation experience

-                   Problem solving skills





Education Requirements: Graduates/CA Inter/Semi qualified CA's working with large accounting firms or pursuing Industrial training



Work Experience Requirements

-          0.6 yrs -2 years (For Associate)

-          Exposure to Corporate Taxation is preferred.

Management and control of designated client portfolio
