Title: General Ledger Supervisor / Team Lead
Job Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: General Ledger Manager in the Regional Shared Services Center

Day to Day responsibilities:
Manage a group of 4 to 6 staff accounts who perform day-to-day GL activities in Bangalore
Assist the regional GL manager for the overall month-end, quarter-end and year-end close
Review journals entries and ensure that proper backup is attached
Reconcile or review GL account reconciliation.
Assist with monthly analytics for month end review by management.

Mandatory Skills / Requirement:

Qualification: CA, ICWA, CPA, CIMA or Equivalent.
Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a public US or EU company
Experience in Oracle is a definite plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1.Work independently on scope areas within the audit process. Perform Audit Team Leader (ATL) responsibilities for any type of audit.

2. Support team in meeting departmental and organizational objectives.

Experience:

In-depth experience of audit, with experience of internal audit an advantage, and a broad understanding of business. International audit experience preferably with big 4 audit firms.

A report writing capability is an added advantage. Auditing experience in highly automated and technical environment is desirable.

Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal) with additional languages desirable. Must be an enthusiastic and committed team player who is prepared to travel (70% plus) and learn in a fast changing, exciting environment.

Qualifications:

A graduate with either financial qualification and/or MBA,

Chartered Accountant or other relevant qualification.

Candidates with additional qualification such as CISA and similar areas will be preferred.
