ESSENTIAL DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Team management

* Core Accounting Skills

* Competence in Reviewing Reconciliations

* Ensure timely and accurate Month close activities

* Producing reports

* Team Metrics reporting

* Identify process issues and proactively work with relevant groups to resolve

* Compliance activities

* Maintain Internal Customer relationships

Required Skills:

Education:

Graduate degree in Commerce with Inter CA/ICWA

Knowledge and Skills:

* Bachelors Degree in Finance/Commerce/Business or Accounting

* Additional professional qualification.

* Written and spoken fluency in English

* Computer literate with working excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Experience in SAP or other large Accounting software

* Experience in leading accounting service groups for large global organizations

* Staff management experience

Qualifications

*Good problem solving skills

* Attention to detail.

* Good interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills.

* Willingness to work on any shifts, if the job requires at a later date.

EXPERIENCE:

· 6 yrs of overall experience

· 2 yrs of people management experience

· Relevant experience (General Ledger) of min 2.5 yrs.

Join the General Accounting and Reporting(GAR) Group.GAR is responsible for recording accounting transactions,reconciliations,month end close,compliance and reporting for various processes i.e. Revenue Accounting,Payroll Accounting,Fixed Assets,Treasury Accounting, Cash Management,Inter-company,General ledger, and Project Costing. The candidate will be placed in any of the above processes within GAR. You would be responsible for: -Providing administrative support in one or more of several specialty areas including Cost Accounting, Business Support, Financial Planning and Reporting, Accounting Services and Centralized Transaction. -Monitoring processes and the effectiveness of business controls and initiating improvements. -Ensuring proper control, recording and classification of transactions. -Using accounting and financial systems and tools to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. -Analyzing accounts, records, reports, journals, vouchers, ledgers, and other documents for accuracy. -Prepare periodic reports utilizing multiple information sources, for use outside of the department. -Developing solutions to accounting problems within specialty area. -Providing the focal point for a wide spectrum of customer accounting transactions processing questions and issues.
Qualifications :	Academic Qualification: B.Com and MBA (Finance) Work Experience: 0- <1 year of accounting experience.
