Job Title: Trainee Test Engineer
Job Definition: Trainee Test Engineer is responsible for executing test cases and report bugs back to the Development team
Reports To: Project Manager - Development
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparing the test cases based on functional designs and execute them
· Performing Unit testing, Integration & Acceptance testing
· Performing Regression testing
· Report the bugs to the Development team
Educational Background:
Graduates in any discipline like B.Sc., B.Com, B.C.A. or any diploma holder with Computer Science or Non-MCA/M.Sc. and non-BE/B.Tech candidates
Technical Skill Sets:
· Experience in Softer Testing and should be adopt in test methodologies and Testing Life Cycle
· Understanding of general programming & RDBMS and knowledge of defect management cycle
· Working knowledge of SQL Server / Oracle and MS Office.
· Knowledge of Web based application testing.
Competencies Required:
· Good interpersonal skills
· Excellent English oral and written communication skills along with listening skills is a must
· High on technical trouble shooting through logical reasoning
· Highly organized with good attention to detail.
· High on work ethics.
Relevant years of Experience:
Around 0 to 1 years experience in Software Testing.
