POSITION : MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (SHEET METAL/AUTOMATIVE INDUSTRY) 3+YRS EXP
JOB LOCATION : BANGALORE
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Join the team of Life Sciences, India as Design
Engineer and deliver the mechanical projects for LS
*Hands on working on the mechanical projects which will
include the complete ! design cycle from Conceptualization,
detail design, basic FE simulations, design calculations,
CAD modeling, Prototyping,Verification and Validation on
the technical side and drive milestone closures in eNPI and
acting as a single point contact across various other global
groups
Qualification/Requirements:*Masters / BE ! in MechanicalEngineering
Desired: *A minimum of 3 to 5 years in! dustrial experience in design
and development and has participated in full product
design cycle
*Exposure to global quality & regulatory standards
*Proven expertise in Conceptualization, detail design,
basic FE simulations, design calculations, material selection,
CAD modeling, Prototyping, Verification and Validation of a
complete new product introduction
*In-depth understanding of feature-based parametric modeling / assembly modeling, with hands-on
experience using large-! scale commercial CAD packages
(I-DEAS, UniGraphics, ! Pro E,So lid works etc )
*Experience with one or more commercial finite element
packages (ANSYS and I-Deas)
*Experience with Geometric
*Experience with medical products/Instrumentation
*Experience with plastic part design using injection molding,
pressure forming, and foamed parts
*Demonstrated experien! ce in
building engineering prototypes and conducting desi! gn
validation tests
*Six Sigm! a DFSS trained and certified
Dimensioning and Tolerancing
*Experience on design documentation to comply with
ISO and European standards
*Demonstrated interpersonal
and leadership skills. Must be a self starter
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
