Having worked extensively (close to 23 man-years) on conceptualizing, designing and implementing sourcing strategies/solution s for companies of the likes of General Motors, Alcatel-Lucent, POSCO, TI, Dell, Delphi and Emerson, we realized that sluggish adoption of new technologies were bloating implementation lifecycles and were making future solution upgrades (due to technology obsolescence and a lot of rework) a costly proposition leading to low customer sat..
To find answers, we started doing our research on the latest web technologies (especially on open source) which could substantially impact implementation life cycles but the same time provide the same kind of scalability and performance with the flexibility of component re-use. And thus, Stragure (pronounced as "struh-jer") Software Technologies was born in 2007.
It has been founded in Bangalore by 3 ex-i2ers with a combined 30+ years of industry experience.

Despite being a 5 month old startup, we have been entrusted with building a comprehensive Risk Management System for the leading brokerage house in India, a chip thermodynamics simulation product for a leading simulator company in the world, a major social uplift initiative e-portal from the Govt of India and a major charity-industry collaboration e-portal in South East Asia. The common thread among all these projects is that all are fast track projects which require implementation of cutting edge technologies.
