We are currently having the foll. openings in Mainframes with one of our MNC Clients, The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) (http://www.rbs.com). It's the 8th largest Bank Globally & 3rd largest Bank in Europe.
Work Location: Gurgaon
Essential Skills: (Must have skills): COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL
* Knowledge of SDLC methodologies
* Knowledge in Financial domain is desired
* Good communication skills
1) Position: Lead Analyst
Experience: 4 - 6 years of pure application development on MAINFRAME platform
Role:
* Analyzing the business requirements and converting them into Technical or Functional requirements as a team member
* Coding, testing and documenting programs. Tasks are executed as per specifications within different projects / functional areas
* Guide and mentor the team in technical areas, helping them in designing complex queries and reports
* Carry out and review important technical documents, designs etc.
* Creating the test cases, test datasets.
* Share his technical knowledge among and across the team
* Assisting PM / PL with technical details / decisions.
* Mentoring SA"s team members in technical areas/decisions.
* Coordination with onsite team members on gap analysis, communication, planning and issues.
2) Position: Project Lead
Experience: 7 - 9 years of experience in systems development involving mainframe technologies.
Role:
* Translate the Business Requirements into IT Requirements by conducting workshops, meetings, interaction with focus groups and governance teams.
* Understand IT standards, associated document templates, processes, inter-group coordination and policies Gain an understanding of the system quickly and to a high level of quality.
* Creation of Overall Project Technical Documents with the help of team & Validation of Technical deliverables against GT Architecture & standards.
3) Position: Project Manager
Experience: 8 - 11 years of pure application development on MAINFRAME platform
Role:
* Knowledge of SDLC and alignment with internal processes of RBS and change management
* Delivery of projects with zero defect and spot-on management techniques
* Ability to bring work through multiple projects
* Take on initial project ownership
* Identify and manage risk
* Resource management
* Technical and functional guidance to the team
* Account Management / Relationship management
* Managing the development team and interfacing with other external groups
