Role: Assistant Manager Transition
Location: Bangalore
Position Summary
The position is an important member of the Transition & Re-engineering team, responsible for operations consulting assignments and overall project management resulting in outsourcing of the business processes from clients to AXA BS. This position will be required to forge strong relations with AXA BS customers and lead projects comprising resources from operations, IT from customer and AXA BS.
Key Accountabilities
1. Project Management
• Undertake scooping and feasibility study work at customer site and carry out the project implementation to meet strategic plan numbers for FTE transfers from the account allotted.
• Manage end to end local project (at AXA BS) for clients
• Manage end to end projects other than migrations.
• Ensure smooth and timely execution of projects.
• Build an effective communication plan to avoid any surprises.
• Drive the entire project and lead the AXA BS resources during the project.
• Effective closure of all projects with proper sign off and Service Level Agreements
2. Change Management
• Understand the sensitivity to region-based peculiarities and the dynamics at the customer organization.
• Maintain effective resolution of major issues as and when required
• Liaise with the internal IT and Operations resources to ensure all deliverables are met
3. Customer Relationship Management
• Conduct Post Implementation review on projects with the customer
• Forge relationship and confidence with the client for future business
• Increase the product depth in the existing customers
• Identify new opportunities with AXA BS Business Development team in UK
4. Quality and Process Improvement
• Identify process improvement Projects in new projects and existing processes.
• Mentor and Coach Quality Projects
• Establish methods, tools and techniques for process improvement and train operations team leaders in these techniques
5. New Initiatives & Knowledge Management
• Drive Knowledge Management (case studies and learning's from projects, new products in BPO, common Insurance products and processes)
• Refine the transition framework and transition training guide based on new learning's
• Share best practices across projects
Qualification: Graduate
Work Experience: 2 yrs relevant in the core transition role.
