Job description – Financials System Technical Specialist Design technical solutions to meet business and user requirements

• Troubleshoot and maintain existing base of applications (Production State)
• Convert business specifications into Technical design specifications by performing necessary analysis and design.
• Install, configure, tune, and test applications on a variety of platforms/environments.
• Develop code and conduct unit testing of technical solutions
• Practice industry best practices on code versioning and promotion between development, test, and, and production environments.
• Create technical design specifications
• Develop data migration routines during project migration stages
• Must possess keen analytical skills and pays meticulous attention to detail
• Strong team player with an ability to work well in a matrix team environment
• Utilize guidelines to ensure consistent navigation and branding.
• Familiarity with financial concepts centered on billing and accounting rules.
• Comfortable and familiar with IT audit and control principles (SOX, COBIT)

IT related degree is preferred

Package Application and Interface Implementation and Support Requirements
 

For Oracle's eBusiness Suite, understand the application, its setup components, and demonstrate ability to navigate the GL, AP, AR, FA, CM and OM modules, with a clear understanding of the main functionality.

• Experience with Oracle's e-Business Suite and the Application Object library (AOL), to maintain
•   „h Oracle forms and reports (6i/9i toolset)
•   „h Oracle database 10g
•   „h Oracle Alerts

• Proficient with PL/SQL for the purpose of creating custom interfaces into and out of the application
• Proficient with SQL PLUS and SQL LOADER for the purpose of creating data migration routines
• Knowledgeable of Oracle Application Development Framework
• Familiarity with J-Developer and XML publishing techniques
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion development toolset (future)
• Highly knowledge of Oracle's Open Interface tables
• Some familiarity with finance and accounting principles
