Looking for Java and C++ Professionals

We are looking for Core Java professionals for one of our client, please find the JD as follows.

Duties/Responsibilities of Position:

• Design the required software modules

• Understanding the product behavior across platforms (Solaris, Linux) & implementing the relevant solution for Windows

• Develop software in C/C++, Java based on strong OOPS concepts

• Develop Perl & InstallShield modules

• Administer & handle issues on database (RDBMS), web server (like IIS, Apache) & mail server (MS Exchange)

• Maintain the existing product by fixing the existing issues & enhancements

• Resolve Level 3 customer issues (escalated from support)

• Migrate Perl scripts & C++ applications to Java modules

• Incorporate all the possible, latest technology trends into the product



Position Specific Competencies/Skills Required:

• Required skills• Strong knowledge on OOPS concepts

• Good working experience in Windows domain (including but not limited to Windows API, Services, Registry)

• Good working experience in C++

• Good working experience in Java

• Strong knowledge in Unix fundamentals & usage

• Preferred skills

• Good working experience in InstallShield/InstallAnywhere

• Working experience in Perl

• Good knowledge in any RDBMS, IIS, MS Exchange server7

• Good knowledge in MFC

• Good knowledge in MOM 2005 and/or SCOM 2007

Experience/Education Required/Desired:

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science is mandatory (No MCA)

• Sun Certified Java Programmer/Enterprise Architect is preferred

• 2-3 years of development experience in Java and C++

• 1+ years of user experience with Windows domain

• 1+ years of programmatic experience on Windows (including but not limited to Windows API, Services, Registry)

• Familiarity with Performance monitoring is strongly preferred

• 1+ years of experience in Perl (or other scripting languages), Sybase, Oracle, IIS & MS Exchange is preferredSpecial Considerations:
