Incident Management Lead openings with Accenture-Bangalore

We are glad to inform that currently we are recruiting for Accenture - Bangalore

Job Description – Consultant

Job Title/Role:

Incident Management Lead
Skills Requirement

Responsibilities
o To handle critical incidents and help to resolve issues within the SLA/OLA for the project by co-coordinating with the respective domain teams.

o Be a trigger point for escalations, in case an incident is not getting resolved within SLA or technical help is required by other teams.

o To handle P1 incident in co-ordination with various domain teams across various locations in the country.

o To send P1 incident updates in the prescribed format to Senior Management for all P1 incidents.

o To update Senior Management over phone for Major outages and very critical outages involving major business impact.

o Review Open/Pending P1 and act on them for resolution.

o Individual will handle P1 incidents across India and hence should be capable of interacting with multiple domain teams for addressing P1 incidents

o Should be able to drive bridge / con calls for troubleshooting incidents involving multiple teams.

o Will need to be flexible for working in shifts involving Night shifts.

Required Educational Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B. Tech./MCA in-



· Electronics & Telecommunications

· Electronics

· IT

· Computer Science

Years of Experience
6-10 Yrs relevant experience in a similar capacity with a large organization

Knowledge


Product/Service Specific Knowledge
1. Technical Networking Knowledge on LAN / WAN/ MAN.

2. Knowledge of CISCO router, switches and firewall is an advantage.

3. Knowledge in Multiple Operating systems like Windows 2003, Advance server, Novell Netware, UNIX would be an advantage.

4. Knowledge on Mail Servers / DNS concepts will be an added advantage.



Process Specific Knowledge
Basic understanding of industry standards like ISO 20000, BS7799, COPC etc. with a focus on Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management will be preferred

Tools Specific Knowledge
Industry standard Data network management and Helpdesk ticketing tools. Like BMC Remedy, Sunrise, HP Open view.

· Strong analytical skills to help diagnose and resolve the incidents.

· Strong coordination capabilities.

· Should be a team player

· Should be willing to work in shift involving COMPLETE NIGHT SHIFT
