Job Description
JD Edwards professionals design, implement and deploy solutions using JD Edwards products to achieve defined business goals. They maintain skills in JD Edwards application design, development, integration, testing and deployment. A Senior Team Lead oversees the design, development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions. He/she is responsible for designing, coding, enhancing and testing software applications to meet business process requirements. He/she supervises the identification and implementation of configuration changes and maintenance of software applications. He/she has some management responsibility for the technology solution and the development of the team.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage client relationship to understand business requirement and determine how best to implement the solution in JDE using deep JDE functional expertise
• Understand the function of JDE application and where it is applied in the business
• Serve as the key conduit of functional/business & technical knowledge into the JDE development, CNC and interfaced external system teams
• Perform impact analysis on incoming service/support requests, specific to complexity & estimate drivers
• Create functional / operational design specifications for support work and support the business analysts in their project work
• Oversee the review of detailed functional specifications, test plans & user and operations documentation
• Oversee / support team members in providing production support for JDE super users and end users. Activities include problem analysis, break / fix, testing, and promotion to the prototype environment.
