Duly signed applications in self designed format by the applicant, containing Name of the applicant,. Address for correspondence date of birth, date of retirement educational qualifications details of experience with period, nature of duties attended to from time to time and details of present employment, category (SC/ST/OBC/PH etc) total emoluments drawn per month alongwith attested photocopies of last five years Annual Confidential Report and certificates certifying that no disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against the applicants are invited from eligible candidates fulfilling the following requirement for filling up of one post of Assistant Director Grade-II (Official Language). by transfer on deputation/promotion basis in the Office of the Textile Commissioner, Mumbai to reach within 60 days from the date of advertisement to the Deputy Director (Admn.) Office of the Textile Commissioner, Mumbai (above address).

3. Educational Qualifications
a) Essential : i) Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level OR Master’s degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi and English as the subjects at the degree level Or Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi medium and English as a subject at degree level OR Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a subject at the degree level.
ii) 5 years experience of terminological work in Hindi and or translation work from English to Hindi or Vice Versa. preferably technical or scientific literature OR 5 years experience of teaching, research, writing or journalism in Hindi.
b) Desirable:
i) Knowledge of Sanskrit, and /or a modem Indian Language.
ii) Administrative experience.
iii) Experience of organising Hindi classes or workshop for noting and drafting
iv) Training in Hindi-English- Hindi translation from a recognised University or Central Hindi Translation Bureau.
v) Knowledge of Hindi Terms related to Textile Industry/ Trade.
vi) Training in translation and knowledge of Hindi terms in Textile Industry/ Trade.
4. Eligibility Conditions:
For Transfer on Deputation:
Officers from the Central Government
a) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis Or (ii) with 3 years regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.5500-175-9000/- or equivalent and
b) Possessing the above educational qualification and experience.
For Promotion: The Departmental Senior Hindi Translator with 3 years regular service in the grade will also be considered for appointment to the post alongwith others. In case he is selected, the same will be treated to have been filled by promotion
5. Age Limit : Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
6. The Officer who formally volunteer for the above said deputation post will not be permitted to withdraw their names subsequently. The pay of the officer selected will be regulated in accordance with the Government of India rules and regulations in force, as applicable for appointments on deputation basis
