Job description:

Ø People management as well as process control are the keys to sound financial management.
Ø You"ll lead a financial and accounting staff to perform day to day activities of data processing, query management and related activities, accurately and on time.
Ø You will responsible for periodic operations reviews with the customer and senior management.
Ø You will be acting as a point of contact for any customer escalations.
Ø You"ll direct the development, implementation and administration of financial planning, reporting and transaction processing systems and procedures.
Ø You will lead the daily work of an assigned team and drive the operations in meeting and exceeding the SLAs as agreed with the customer.
Ø You will be responsible for the goal setting and performance evaluation of your direct reports.
Ø During transitions you will be required to ensure a proper knowledge transfer and documentation of the activities to be transferred to the Global delivery center.


Qualifications
Your profile

• Master"s degree or equivalent in Business/Finance or Accounting.
• Any professional course certifications like CA, CPA, ICWA, etc is an add on.
• 5 to 6 years of industry experience with at least 1 year of experience in people management role handling team of around 20 to 25 people.
• Good knowledge and exposure to management methodologies
• Strong people management skills
• Accounting knowledge
• Thorough knowledge of financial systems especially ERP and workflow applications. Previous hands-on SAP knowledge preferred
• Practical/process experience for problem diagnosis and variance analysis
• Prior experience in finance or accounting roles especially in the R2R domain
• Industry experience
• Project management and consulting experience
