Opening for International Business Development


Client TCS BPO
Location: Mumbai


• Understand & Evangelize the Business Process Outsourcing & Potential of TCS Offerings
o Identify and build new offering slivers within the focus area
o Work with sales management and marketing personnel to develop and implement new sales programs, products, and services
o Identify and qualify potential leads - business opportunities and customer needs
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support
o Work with onsite sales teams to manage & contribute to responses to customer requests for information, proposals et al
o Provide presentations; conduct research and competitive analysis associated with new opportunities.
o Work with other TCS service & industry practices to provide comprehensive & innovative solution meeting and exceeding customer expectations
o Participate in customer visits & Offer solutions
• Identify & develop alternate streams of revenue generations
o Work on creating alliances & partnership
o Work with industry analysts to position TCS as a vendor of choice.
• Manage the customer engagement cycle from lead to operations
o Participate in onsite due diligence & contribute to transition planning
o Contribute to solution definition
• Build reusable collateral and contribute to the knowledge repository.
• Maintain networks and relationships to keep abreast of competitors' activities and develop and maintains effective business relationships in the industry.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERION

Qualifications:
• Mandatory : Post Bachelor's diploma in Relevant skills or Other professional qualifications (CA, CFA et al)
• Nice to Have : Masters in Management or Business Administration

Soft Skills :
• Mandatory : Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Mandatory : The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while producing consistent quality results on time
• Mandatory : Must be a self-starter who can work effectively under minimal supervision.

Experience:
• Mandatory : Total Experience of 9-12 years.
• Mandatory : At least 3 years of experience in business development and/or customer relationship management. The business development experience should center around solution creation / customer presentations and not on cold calling.
• Mandatory : Experience in managing operations with teams of 50 or greater.
• Nice to Have : Experience in transitioning processes.
• Nice to Have : Exposure to functional roles (non BPO)

1 HR & Payroll Business Development Lead • Mandatory: Experience in providing solutions around payroll & employee data management.
• Nice to Have: Experience in SAP implementation.
• Nice to Have : Experience in providing outsourcing on hosted platforms.

2 SCM Business Development Lead • Mandatory: Experience in providing solutions around procurement and supply chain planning.
• Nice to Have: Experience in Order Entry & Management processes in a B2B environment
• Nice to Have : Experience in Warranty Management solutions

3 Finance & Accounting Business Development Lead • Mandatory: Experience in providing solutions around AP, AR, General Accounting (Ledger management & Reconcilations)
• Nice to Have: Experience in FP & A
• Nice to Have: Experience in SoX /SAS 70 Implementations
• Nice to have : Exposure to F&A in a banking environment

4 Banking & Financial Services Business Development Lead • Mandatory: Experience in providing solutions around Account Opening/Maintenance, Securities Desk / Equity Research, Reconciliations and/or Check Processing
• Nice to have : Exposure to providing vertical specific services to a European bank.
5 Insurance Business Development Lead • Mandatory: Experience in providing solutions around Claims Processing / Third Party Administration
• Nice to have : Exposure to providing vertical specific services to a US/UK/EU based provider.
6 Retail Business Development Lead • Mandatory: Experience in providing solutions around Merchandizing, Store Planning.
• Nice to Have: Experience in Spend & Pricing Analytics
• Nice to have : Exposure to providing vertical specific services to a large US/UK/European retail chain.
