JOB PURPOSE

To account revenues and do billing for customers

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Accrue Revenue:

-Basis Sign off accrue revenue

2. Timely and correct invoicing to customers:

- Send out invoices to customers, ensure correct and timely billing based on data received from circles

3. Resolve Billing Disputes:

- Coordinate with circle teams and customers to resolve billing related issues

4. Initiate automation in Billing system:

- Automation of billing system for Bilateral and MSA related billing


MAJOR CHALLENGES

Major challenge faced is collating timely data from circles and accounting revenue basis that data.automation is the key and person should have good knowledge of processes to be followed in due course so as to reduce human internvention in billing

Invoicing for 11 circles.
Approx.60 invoices (Key Clients / Accounts) per month
Handle revenue of 200 cr. Per month

Position 1: SAP CRM Consultant

Job Description

• At least 4 plus years in SAP ABAP programming with strong applied knowledge for the design, development and implementation of business processes and interfaces in SAP R/3 and SAP CRM, particularly with the SERVICE MODULE experience.
• Must have CRM BDoc and BSP development experience.
• Expertise in SAP workflows. Develop custom workflow to meet specific business requirements, formatting Emails content with dynamic URLs, investigation and troubleshooting of workflow problems. Knowledge of SAP Workflow builder and workflow wizards.
• Knowledge of CRM 2007 UI framework.
• Object oriented ABAP skills are desirable
• Ability to develop transport methodology that entails introducing CRM and MDM objects into existing landscape
• Experience in LSMW, EEWB,ALE/IDOC, BAPI/RFC, BADI, User exits, BDC, BDT

Title: Team Leader – Accounts Payable (A/P) Process

Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of Invoice Payment processors in the A/P team by performing the following duties.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with plant site personnel.

Communication of critical problems to department manager, personnel manager, and site liaisons.

Addresses errors and complaints received from internal and external customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises 5 to 14 employees in the payment team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Know-how / Experience: The incumbent must have a bachelor's degree with preferably an MBA and a minimum of 5 to 6 years experience in a similar role with a medium to large BPO / Shared Service Centre, out of which at least 1 year should have been in people management roles. Thorough knowledge of all functions of the accounts payable organization.

Preference will be given to persons having experience on SAP R/3.

Knowledge of BPO processes, quality systems, tools and best practices, ability to organize and manage workflow, establish priorities, and follow up on unresolved matters. Working knowledge of customer procurement and payment systems. Working knowledge of entire payable processes and procedures.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate, and provide feedback. Interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with plant site personnel, vendors, site liaisons, team leaders, manager, and other payment team personnel.

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English are a must.

Direct Taxes:
• Ensure total tax compliance like: TDS Deduction, timely Payment to statutory authorities in the prescribed mode, Periodic E-Filing etc.
• Finalise Annual TDS workings & Issue of TDS Certificates for all payees within statutory due-dates and internal target dates.
• Preparation of Advance Tax & FBT Calculations, liaison with Consultants for vetting the workings, arrange for timely periodic remittances of the same with statutory authorities after finalisation of the amounts internally and in line with advice from tax counsel.
• Responsible for taking cognizance any notice, routine or surprise like scrutiny, assessment, survey etc and prepare relevant submissions in consultation with superiors in the department and liaise with tax consultants for the same and provide required documents for representations and keep tab of iteration thereof and report to reporting officers.
• Preparation of documents for Tax Audit with proper planning and in consultation with financial statutory audit team and liaise with tax auditors for timely finalisation of the same and filing of the same with tax authorities
• Involve as key person in all audit exercises as regards tax compliances and queries related thereto
• Support superiors in matters like Compliance of Transfer pricing provisions, provide requisite information to TP Accountant for the issue TP Report & relevant certification/documentation.
• Obtain Tax Deduction Certificates, etc and prepare Corporate Tax Return and ensure timely filing of the return after proper vetting by Consultants.


Indirect Direct Taxes:
• Timely remittance of periodic Indirect Taxes like Service Tax, VAT & filing of all relevant periodic Returns etc.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date records as required under law and claim necessary input credits and Prepare Periodic Returns and subject the same for vetting by tax counsel well in advance of statutory due-date and internal target dates.
• Verification and timely Payment of Customs Duty other levies etc and give necessary tax. Accounting and maintain all documents and comply with procedural requirements
• Responsible for taking cognizance any notice, periodic audits scrutinies, anti-evasion proceedings, show cause notices etc. and prepare relevant submissions in consultation with superiors in the department and liaise with tax consultants for the same and provide required documents for representations and keep tab of iteration thereof and report to reporting officers.
• Adherence to other relevant formalities, procedures, registrations etc as and when required due to :
• change in law.
• new business activities which Company would venture into in future.


Common Responsibilities for both Direct & Indirect Taxes include:
• Update on changes in tax laws, in general, and those impact the company's business, in particular, and keep informed, all concerned, after deliberating with superiors and consultants.
• Attend seminar and conferences on tax subjects and summarise the takeaways to relevant team members of finance function for knowledge enrichment and proper compliance by all concerned.
• He will be one of the key tax personnel and responsible manager within finance department and shall support finance, in general, and tax function, in particular, on all relevant topics, attend to common meetings (intra- deptl. and commercial department) and understand role on responsibility of finance function as a whole and more particularly, tax function & work towards decisions taken in the field of taxation.
• Experience in Corporate Direct & Indirect Taxes & sound knowledge of accounting & tax function in mid-size corporate.

Expert knowledge of :
• direct & indirect taxes,
• requirement of tax audit
• sound knowledge of statutory financial audit and internal audit requirements,
• Good knowledge of Indian GAAPs
