JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: AVP Finance
Reports To:CFO
Location: Chennai
Job Purpose:
Coordinate the Treasury, Accounts, Taxation, Audit and compliance activities of the Finance and Accounts Department at HO
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for all activities of corporate accounts and finance dept- accounts finalization, audits, taxation related matters, compliance reporting etc
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with ops, IT, MIS, Treasury departments, auditors, tax authorities and generate necessary reports.
Experience:
• In handling accounts and audit of NBFC. Thorough knowledge of accounting, audit and taxation requirements. Should have interacted with Big 4 auditors at accounts finalization level for atleast 3 years.
Education / Preferred Qualifications:
Must be a chartered Accountant from a reputed firm with good experience in handling audits of large organizations including NBFC/Bank
Core Competencies:
Must have thorough knowledge of NBFC guidelines, accounting and auditing standards, handled tax related matters including tax planning, assessments, appeals. Knowledge of ERP – Oracle financials. Good in communication, team building capability etc.
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge of latest accounting standards, tax laws.

• Good Inter personal relationship

• Must have team leadership qualities
