Job Description:
v Ensure service delivery of Consolidation & External reporting processes as per the standards set out in agreed SLAs within the Clients.
v Global Resourcing operating framework taking into account key operational risk (including people & processes) and ways to mitigate.
v Lead, motivate and manage a team of finance professionals taking into account attritions, band progression, contingencies and expectations.
v Initiate and then implement high-impact quality projects leading to operational efficiency and higher productivity (Within Six Sigma, Lean process improvement methodology)
v Continuous review of processes with the objective of improving the service delivery timeframes and identify areas of improvement.
Desired Qualifications:
v Qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/CPA /CFA with 5+ years of experience in Financial Control, Reporting & Analysis / Period-end close / Global Consolidation of a organization of similar scale within UK GAAP,US GAAP, IFRS, IAS reporting framework
v Some experience of financial services preferred
v Consolidation experience in a technical role is desirable
v An awareness of developments in accounting and regulatory environment
v Ability to deal with and analyse unstructured problems and queries and to question and challenge existing procedures
v Be a self starter/motivated - ability to work with minimum supervision with attention to detail
v Ability to communicate complex financial issues confidently to line management
v Be able to work to strict deadlines, under pressure and be a team player
v Keen to learn/ask questions/progress
v Ideally, experience of leading and managing teams or experience of being a senior/deputy within a team
v Global Exposure and experience in multi-tasking
