Principal Engineers
- Exp : 3 – 10 years
- Linux & Unix Administrator with very good working experience in perl, shell scripting or Python
Senior Software Quality Engineer
- Exp : 4+ – 8.6 + years
- Java Development, Shell scripting & testing.

Hadoop is a grid computing framework for running applications on large clusters built of commodity hardware. It lets one easily write and run applications that process vast amounts of data (terabytes to petabytes). The Hadoop framework transparently provides applications both reliability and data motion.
At Y! Bangalore , we are involved in doing some cutting edge work on building this framework. There is ownership for a few of the core components of this new computing platform. Hadoop is open-source and provides an interesting set of challenges as we continue to build this platform.
