About the client:

Finance Division helps protect and safeguard the firm’s resources by providing strategic/analytical support for business decisions and presenting a fair and balanced view of the firm to all stakeholders. It provides the framework for planning and financial analysis, and sets the standards for measuring and monitoring financial performance.
Job Responsibilities:
The candidate would be located at Mumbai, to support the onshore CFO/finance team for accounting and reporting of legal entities, including working on US GAAP and IFRS reporting to Head Office and the preparation of financial statements under the required GAAPs, group consolidation/sub consolidation and support of external audit work, if required.
The role also includes rolling in a state of the art technology platform, which is the part of the targeted operating vision of the finance team, globally.
This engagement will encompass regular interaction with the onshore team, preparation of reconciliation of all required data attributes; ensure end-to-end data integrity, maintaining mapping rules and similar data to support the preparation of regulatory reports, resolving and/or escalating exceptions, as appropriate.

Requirements:
MBA/ ICWA/CA's with exposure towards US GAAP or IFRS.
Excellent academic record, strong accounting, analytic and quantitative skills
Regulatory accounting knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong relationship management & group facilitation skills
PC literacy, particularly in MS Office suite or demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly
Relevant work experience a plus
Motivate and continuous improvement focused
Please note that the client works from 11 am to 8 pm approx, but sometimes requires candidates who would be flexible to work from 2.30 to 11.30-12.00 Night.
