The details of the job are given below -
Position: Finance Manager
Experience: 8-10 years
Education: CA /M.Com
Responsibilities:
· Report to Management on monthly financial performance and other related reports.
· Arrange to compile product cost data and report / advise the management on product costing / pricing.
· Report to Management on Inventory Management.
· Discuss with Head of Departments for their annual budget requirement / justification and consolidate the annual budget for review and approval at Head Office.
· Co-ordinate the activities of statutory audit/ Tax audit/Cost audit in consultation with Head Office and also the Internal Audit.
· Monitor the cash flow requirements of the division and arrange for necessary funds.
· Evolve and implement various systems circulars / procedures having financial / legal implications in consultation with Head Office wherever required.
· Evaluate various investment proposals from the point of economic viability.
· Participate in various committees / discussions involving financial matters.
· To finalize the rates for scrap disposal in consultation with Materials Manager.
· Handle Excise matters.
· Guide sub-ordinates and staff for smooth and efficient functioning of the department
