JDA® Software Group Inc ( U.S Based PRODUCT Development Company - Merchandising & Supply Chain Management GIANT ) is hiring Chartered Accountant Professionals ( at least 6+ Years of Experience in Accounts, Finance, Tax, CS, Audit ), Permanent position based in Hyderabad.

Designation: Associate Director-India-Finance

Work Location: JDA® Software Group Inc, Hyderabad, India

Job Description: Ideal candidate should have hands on experience of managing day to day controller ship functions:

1) Accounts Payable Functions
i) Provide controllership on all the activities of accounts payable functions for India Operations. This involves setting up process, controls, and review mechanisms.
ii) Best Practices on vendor managements, automation of payroll processing functions, electronic payment systems.
iii) Develop and maintain good working relationship with Bankers.

2) Financial Accounting & Reporting
i) Provide leadership in managing the entire accounting functions for India Operations ensuring accuracy, and completeness of accounting entries
ii) Provide leadership in closure of month end, quarter end and year end accounting and lead through audits.
iii) Best Practices in terms of accounting policies, reporting, disclosures requirements, accounting methods from software product companies, services industry, IT/ITES industries in India etc.
iv) Convert Indian GAAP accounts into US GAAP &/or IRFS accounts.

3) Audit Management
i) Provide leadership in audit of India accounts and ensure that accounts are audited and signed within first month following closure of books.
ii) Co-ordinate internal audits and assists Management in review of internal audit reports.
iii) Assist Management in review of statutory accounts.
iv) Best practices on audit management and governance standards around audits and reporting.

4) Payroll Management
i) Provide controllership on all payroll related activities including review of existing payroll processing arrangements, value added activities to employees like tax workshop et, flexi benefits planning, review of existing payroll structure to minimize tax implications on employees, best practices in payroll management.
ii) Automation and employee interface for payroll processing.

5) Management Information Systems (MIS)
i) Design appropriate MIS for management reviews
ii) Design and provide MIS for Management on request
iii) Automate MIS to eliminate/minimize Human Interface
iv) Design and provide error free management packs for periodic reviews and meetings.

6) Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA)
i) Develop/assist in preparing Yearly Annual Budgets (Operating and Capex) for various business divisions.
ii) Review on periodic basis financial performance and provide Forecast for the year
iii) Prepare 3-5 years Financial Plans based on the Management view of growth/expansions or any other strategic inputs.
iv) Provide scenario analysis for various options / strategies provided by management.

7) Governance
i) Develop strong Finance Governance Models, both internal and external.
ii) Conduct regular monthly interdepartmental meetings/reviews and report to Director Finance on the status of various activities within the department (departmental deliverables).
iii) Conduct regular meetings within the department to review status of Financials, key call outs and other area"s requiring Focus.
iv) Conduct/facilitate monthly Finance control meetings to review the status of variances

8) Strategic partnership
i) Assist /counsel Finance Director / Management in decision making process involving financial implications or otherwise.
ii) Develop strong business relationship with the business partners and other key players to obtain insights into business needs
iii) Assess and develop alternative strategies to minimize overall Corporate Tax keeping in view the fading tax holiday.
iv) Advice on hedging strategies for Forex Exposure.
v) Advice on optimal cash management system and investment of surplus funds.

9) Compliance
i) Ensure compliance with respect various to laws governing the operations of Indian Entity including, but not limited to: STPI, FEMA, RBI Regulations, Companies Act, Customs and Central Excise, EXIM policies, Foreign Trade Policies, Income Tax, Central / State Sales Act, Employee Provident Fund Act/rules, Shops and Establishment Act and other local laws prevalent in Andhra Pradesh (India).
ii) Expert knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations and ability to develop and maintain documentation to support transfer pricing margins.
iii) Strong knowledge about SEZ is desirable.
iv) Understanding of Double Taxation Agreements is desirable.

10) Internal control, business control, documentation etc.
i) Design and implement strong business & process controls.
ii) Develop and implement strategies for knowledge management for the team in terms of process maps, process documentation, process manuals, training manuals etc.
iii) SOX implementation and documentation.

11) Leadership traits
i) Mentor and motivate the team.
ii) Lead by example
iii) Demonstrate ability to influence decision making process across the organization.

12)Scalability
Person should demonstrate ability to work in an internal environment and should be able to scale his / her strengths to meet the requirements across the Asia Pacific over period of time. This may include travel to other operating entities across Asia Pacific and North America"s. Any experience in shared service centre environment is preferred.


Desired Profile:

Technical competencies
a) Should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 6-10 years of work experience in managing accounting team of 8-10 numbers.
b) Should have hands on experience in MS Excel, MS Project and MS Power Point
c) Experience in ERP like people soft etc is preferable and will be an added advantage.
d) Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is added advantage
e) Additional qualifications like CPA (US), ACCA (U.K.), and CMA (U.K.) is added advantage.
f) Knowledge of Business Reporting tools like Hyperion, COGNOS etc is preferred.
