Open positions are:-
1) Mainframe Operating Systems Engineer:-
- Minimum of 5 years direct hands-on experience performing z/OS systems programming maintenance/installation, JES2, IBM program product installations, and independent software vendor (ISV) installations.
- Thorough knowledge of SMP/E desired.
- Experience with IBM RACF, CA/ACF2, or CA Top Secret desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communications skills, and ability to work as a team member are essential.
- Project management skills.
- DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: z/OS, zLinux, SMP/E, Monitoring Tools, and Problem Solving Tools, Sysplex, Open System skills (Unix, Linux), zVM EDUCATION: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field. (Or equivalent experience).
2) IMS System Programmer:-
- 3 or more years experience installing, configuring, implementing, tuning, and debugging IMS in an I.T. environment.
Hands on experience performing IMS systems programming in a z/OS operating system environment using JES2.
- Maintenance/installation of IBM program products, and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) software.
- Ideal candidate to have three or more years experience installing, configuring and implementing IMS in a large IT environment. Thorough knowledge of SMPE desired.
- Experience with CA/ACF2 desired. Strong interpersonal skills, communications skills, and ability to work as a team member are essential.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
IMS, SMP/E, Monitoring Tools, and Problem Solving Tools
EDUCATION:
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field. (Or equivalent experience).
3) Storage Specialist :-
- Storage Specialist is responsible for implement, configure, maintain and troubleshoot zSeries
- Experience in implementing storage in a large banking environment
- Experience in enterprise storage technologies such as SAN and NAS etc
- Good working knowledge of enterprise backup technologies
- Working knowledge of z Series
- Assist in major projects that have a direct impact on the business such as large vendor solutions, Disaster
- Recoverability, Data Center move, or new storage equipment/solutions that roll onto the Data Center floor
- Create and update documentation that is relevant and important to the day to day operations of Systems Storage, examples are renaming of servers, trend charting, growth and capacity charting
- Experience in disaster recovery planning. Daily monitor and support Disaster Recovery solution. This involves keeping track of multiple mirrored volumes on- site and at the remote facility. Much preparation, documentation and storage knowledge is needed and used daily to facilitate a working Disaster Recovery solution
- Continually monitor storage activity by reporting, documentation, and general knowledge of day to day activities
- Experience in various storage architecture solutions, software, hardware, and other storage products
- Highly organized, with excellent prioritization, planning and time management skills
- Good understanding of ITIL principles in storage and capacity management process
4) Mainframe System Performance:-
- 3 plus years hands-on experience working with MVS/ZOS performance management area, able to handle complex performance situation, knowledgeable of using performance tools such as Omegamon, Epilog, Mainview, RMFMON, etc…. , willingness in taking on new responsibility.
- A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with WLM policy, deal with I/O subsystem and hardware performance issue, working knowledge and skill of extracting information form SMF and MICS/MXG database by using SAS.
- Hand-on experiences with MICS and MXG is a must, experience and knowledge to deal with DB2, CICS, MQ performance issues would be beneficial.
- Strong verbal communication skills are needed. The ability to relate technical issues to non-technical personnel would be helpful.
- Education: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field. (Or equivalent experience).
5) Mainframe DB2 - L3
- Installation of new software product versions/releases. Research and apply proactive software maintenance. Perform problem diagnostics and resolution. Monitor systems performance and tune when appropriate. Provide input to management on infrastructure architecture related issues. Use performance reports/metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Conduct Production Readiness Inspections of change events, assessing impacts and risks. Develop wellness check scripts, processes and procedures. Contribute to Root Cause Investigation. Document changes to infrastructure configuration. Update system Configuration and resource definitions when
required.
