Annual recruitment of Postal Assistants in Haryana Postal Circle for the year 2006, 2007 and 2008
Job Description : Applications in the prescribed format are called for the following posts of Postal Assistants and Sorting Assistants :
Postal Assistant : 79 posts
(UR-49, SC-8, OBC-22)
Sorting Assistant : 27 posts
(UR-15, OBC-22)
Postal Assistant in the Army Postal Service : 09 posts
(UR-4, SC-2, OBC-3)
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400
Age Limit : 18-25 years as on 12th October 2009
Age relaxation is admissible for five years for SC and three years for OBC. No reservation is admissible to ST candidates in Haryana.
Desired :
- Pass in 10+2 or 12th with English as a compulsory subject and should have studied the Hindi Language as a subject at the least upto Matriculation or equivalent.
- Typing knowledge and computer knowledge is a desirable qualification, However, for Postal Assistant, Circle Office, Ambala typing skill in Hindi at the sped of 25 w.p.m. or in English at the speed of 30 w.p.m. and computer knowledge are essential.
Apply : The details of recruitment methods, eligible and application forms are available in the prospectus sold though all Head Post Offices and Mukhya Dak Ghars located at all District Headquarters of Haryana State at the cost of Rs. 25/- (Rs. twenty five only) . Original Application form contained in the prospectus will only be acceptable. Photo copy of original form or any other type of duplicate application form will not be entertained and will be rejected straightaway. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Application duly completed along with attested copies of the certificates and one additional photograph should be submitted to the officer concerned on or before 12.10.09 by Registered post or Speed post. Applications sent by other means i.e. ordinary mail/ by hand/ courier will not be considered and rejected straightaway. Applications received after the due date, incomplete applications and applications not supported by requisite certificates and additional photograph will be rejected straightway and no correspondence will be entertained.
