PROJECT SUMMARY & POSITION OVERVIEW ESSENTIAL DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead a team to support, maintain, and enhance existing SAP solutions. Including, but not limited to:
• Provide leadership to several team members through functional/technical expertise around our SAP solution, bolt-on applications, system and business processes, and support methodology
• Provide leadership through direction-setting, participating in staff career development planning, and performing evaluations for individual team members
• Lead larger project initiatives as needed
• Consult on projects where you may have expertise
• Facilitate and/or participate in functional and technical solution reviews with BIS management, developers, architects, and Basis representatives
• Configure solutions where applicable
• Work with the business to resolve identified solution defects
• Communicate and train the final solution to the business and team members, and coordinate the implementation of the solution to the production environment
• Create and/or update system documentation
• Provide research and consultation to management pertaining to new and/or unused functionality including business impact, leverage, and benefits
• Extrapolate and assign team deliverables from management goals and expectations
• Consistently apply good judgment and decision-making skills
• Collaborate with other functional engineers, team leads, managers, and business representatives as necessary
• Participate in project planning and project task as necessary related to deployments
• Collaborate with other department leaders to define, implement, and review group and department direction and strategy
• Assist management with annual budget process
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
• CA or ICWA qualified or other related field
• SAP R/3 configuration experience
• 6+ years business systems and application development experience
• Demonstrated leadership of larger projects and/or teams - including innovative approaches and solutions to project/team assignments
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team on multiple, competing priorities
• Must be able to perform in a team-mentoring role
• History of meeting or exceeding deadlines despite scope changes and/or uncertain circumstances, and of delivering high-quality results
• Strong cross-team collaboration skills
• Must possess ability and the mindset to objectively view an issue as it relates to cross-business prioritization as well as effectively explain a significant issue or resolution from an end-user/customer/business/systems perspective
• Proven ability to appropriately and effectively identify, take ownership of, and focus on highest-priority tasks, and consistent demonstration of ensuring team and individual focus on those priorities
• Must be self-motivated and possess a willingness to successfully take on projects and tasks with little direction
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are a must - able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences and backgrounds including other software engineers, developers, business end-users, and management
• Strong research skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis and pinpoint common themes and related recurring issues for effective resolution
• Willingness to travel
• Strong documentation and related status reporting and update skills
Preferred or Desired Qualifications: Broad SAP configuration experience and strong practical functional/business knowledge of the following core Finance areas:
• Accounts Payable
• Asset Management
• Projects
• Accounts Receivable
• General Ledger
• Cost Center Accounting/Profit Center Accounting
• Profitability Analysis
• Revenue Recognition
• Strong working understanding of ERP and bolt-on integration
• Familiarity with corporate planning/budgeting processes
Softskills:
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to communicate with effectively and professionally with internal and external clients
• Good team player.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Someone capable of responding to a fast paced environment and able to work long days and hours.
• The environment will be go live and requires a very detail oriented person.
DESIRED Skills:
• Good database knowledge.

Education:
• Commerce Graduate or equivalent with 6+ Years of Experience
